Ward update |
||
From 14/09/25 to 18/10/25 The ward has had 6 Calls regarding Anti-Social Behaviour (ASB). In all the years I have worked this ward, I have never known ASB to be so low. 10 years ago 30 calls a month was the norm.
The ward has had 38 crime related calls, The police have 10 different crime codes. 16 of these calls where violence against the person, This does not mean we have people fighting on the street on a regular basis. It is how police record crimes, previously a neighbour dispute would be ASB now it goes down as a Violence against the person. 1 burglary 4 criminal damages. 1 robbery 1 Theft from a shop Various other calls but not of general interest
Arrests and work of note carried out over this period with in the ward Female from the ward arrested by response police for failing to attend court. 2 males arrested for burglary and robbery and other offences. Male from the ward arrested by response officers for recall to prison. Male and female from the ward arrested by Response officers for assault. Motorbike seized by NPT officers, rider reported to court for driving offences and no insurance. Male from the ward arrested by the proactive team for possession with intent to supply and driving offences. Female from the ward arrested for assault and child neglect. Male from the ward arrested by Matrix officers for drug driving and documentation offences. Male from the ward arrested by harbour police for drug driving and documentation offences. Male from the ward arrested by Response officer for failing to attend court. Male from the ward arrested by NPT officers for possession of an offensive weapon (zombie knife). We are currently doing a lot of work with R&C ASB and housing providers on numerous properties within the ward, I hope to give a good update next month. | ||
